Lauren Cottman from Hurst passed her test today in Chertsey with only a few minor faults and got a reverse round the corner for her manouvre. Jim the Driving Examiner at Chertsey passed Lauren in record time, well done Lauren from all at Blue School.. All the best from your driving instructor Damien, we knew you would do it..

Practical Driving Tests
The driving test is straightforward. It is designed to see if you can drive safely, know the Highway Code and can demonstrate this through your driving. Test routes are designed to be as uniform as possible and include a range of typical road and traffic conditions. You will be given directions and also be allowed to drive independently for 10 minutes by the Driving Examiner and asked to carry out set exercises; this will be one reverse manoeuvre, of the four below:
- Turn in the Road
- Reverse around a corner
- Reverse Parallel Park
- Bay Reverse Park
