Blue driving school is a family run company, not a large corporate organisation, so our customers really matter to us so we have a good reputation, we gain most of our customers from existing students, through recommendations. This is because we provide up to date practical lessons for anyone wishing to learn to drive. The Training Course

We provide a carefully structured training programme to fully prepare you for your theory and practical tests. There are a large number of training aides in the market place, and we can suggest the most suitable products for you.
You will be guided through each section of the DSA syllabus to ensure that you are confident on all aspects of the theory and practical parts, prior to making your first attempt.

You and Your Instructor

If for any reason your driving instructor has any doubts about your ability to complete either the theory or practical tests, then he/she would recommend changing the date and then giving you more time to practice and prepare. But that is a decision you and your instructor will make together

About the Instructors

All our driving instructors are patient and calm, with a friendly and professional approach. The Blue goal is to provide a structured and professional training programme to all our students, which will cover all aspects of the driving syllabus, this will enable you to develop as a safer driver for the rest of your life.

CRB Checks or Criminal Records Bureau Checks

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) requires people who are applying to register as a Potential Driving Instructor and existing Approved Driving Instructors who are applying to extend their registration or re-register to have a criminal record check. All Driving Instructors at Blue have been through this process, and have been passed to teach.

Instructors Qualifications

All our instructors continue to improve their qualifications, and some have completed the following advanced training courses

Institute of Advanced Motorists Test IAM, Diamond Advanced Driving Test and Special Test, RAC Advanced Driving Test, BTEC Driving Science Course, ORDIT Official Register of Driving Instructor Trainers, Fleet Company car driver Register, Check Test Training and all follow our Code of Conduct

All of the Blue School of Motoring driving instructors are Qualified DSAADI: Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructors. At Blue we have a fleet of cars which have been carefully selected by us for you to learn to drive in the best possible environment. We have chosen these particular vehicles as all the controls are easy to use, well thought out for easy access, and offer an excellent driving position and clear views of the road ahead, and all around you.

	This car is a new BMW Mini, This is a great car to learn to drive in, cool an spacious, which is fully equipped for tuition, including dual controls, air conditioning, anti-lock brakes, height adjustable steering wheel, air bags and power steering.
	This car is a new Toyota Yaris TR, in silver, What a great car to learn to drive in, equipped for tuition, including dual controls, air conditioning, anti-lock brakes, seat/height adjustment, and a cool iPod ready sound system, tilting steering column, air bags and power steering.
	This car is a new Peugeot 206 1.4Ltr, in black, which is fully equipped for tuition, including dual controls, air conditioning, anti-lock brakes, air bags and power steering.
