Learn to Drive at Blue School of Motoring

Be Safe with our Driving Instructors

Your driving instructor will collect you for your first driving lesson from school, home or work, and will then help you prepare for the theory and driving tests. The course will be designed around you, as everybody is different and we all learn at a different pace. Some people like to learn with a visual aid and some learners prefer to talk about the topic and other clients like to actually just have an attempt, we cater for your needs.

All of our qualified driving instructors are Enhanced DBS checked: The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) conducts an enhanced check for driving instructors to search for spent convictions, cautions, warnings, and other relevant information.

Fit and proper” assessment: The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) uses the results of these checks, along with other information, to determine if an instructor meets the “fit and proper” criteria.

Additional checks: The DVSA also checks for motoring and non-motoring convictions, pending court proceedings, and any substantiated complaints about inappropriate behaviour.

Ongoing monitoring: Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) are subject to ongoing monitoring and regular standards checks to ensure they continue to meet the required standards.

All our checked, fully trained to deal with all types of leaner driver requirements and any disabilities that you may have we are here to help with.
