Brilliant result for Morgan who has trained very hard to get this pass result on his very 1st attempt.
Morgan from Calne passed FIRST TIME in Chippenham
The test started out from Chippenham, Wiltshire in damp conditions and the route went out towards Yatten, Keynell and back through the town. Traffic was light at first, but then it got a bit busier and then really hectic. The test included a revers parallel park in a very busy road, lots of roundabouts and some narrow roads full of parked cars.
What Happens During the Chippenham Test?
- The Eyesight Check: You’ll start by reading a number plate from 20 metres.
- Show Me, Tell Me: You’ll be asked one “Tell Me” question (safety theory) and one “Show Me” question (while driving, like clearing your windscreen).
- General Driving: You’ll head out into Chippenham or nearby villages like Corsham, Lacock or Kington Langley.
- Manoeuvres: You’ll perform one reversing manoeuvre (Parallel park, Park in a bay, or Pull up on the right).
- Independent Driving: For most of the test, you’ll follow a Sat Nav or traffic signs. This is where your knowledge of local signage around Methuen Park really pays off!
