A big well done to Humraaz J of Windsor who passed his driving test today in Slough, Berkshire and on his very FIRST attempt. The driving test included a right hand reverse and Satnav for the independent element and Humraaz managed to keep it to just the one driving fault. Humraaz put in plenty of practice with Andy his driving instructor before attempting his practical test in Slough.

All the very best from Andy Shrimpton your driving instructor and all the team at Blue School of Motoring. Andy has had many passes, find about Andy

How Humraaz prepared for the Driving Test

Humraaz had about 40 hours of driving lesson with Andy his approved DVSA driving instructor and covered all the driving modules which included, roundabouts, crossroads, town driving and high speed country roads and dual carriageways.  Humraaz was also practicing his reverse manoeuvres plus his show me tell me questions about the vehicle he was driving.

In the weeks leading up to the test, lessons focused on:

  • Independent driving and decision making
  • Consistent mirror checks and observation
  • Positioning at roundabouts and junctions
  • Practising manoeuvres under test conditions

By the time Humraaz arrived at the Slough Driving Test Centre he was well and truly prepared for any situation that might occur driving his test.
