Great result for Gemma Baggs of Bracknell, Berkshire who passed her driving test today First Time in Chertsey with only a couple of minor faults, Jim the examiner said that Gemma drove very well. Gemma had a turn in the road to do and quite a bit of dual carriageway driving, during her test, and it was very busy. Driving Test Information
The driving test is straightforward. It is designed to see if you can drive safely, know the Highway Code and can demonstrate this through your driving. Test routes are designed to be as uniform as possible and include a range of typical road and traffic conditions. You will be given directions and also be allowed to drive independently for 10 minutes by the Driving Examiner and asked to carry out set exercises; this will be one reverse manoeuvre, of the four below:
- Turn in the Road
- Reverse around a corner
- Reverse Parallel or Bay Reverse Park
and maybe an emergency stop. The driving test lasts approximately 38 / 40 minutes
