Where are the Lessons Held
Our Under 17 Driving Lessons are held at The Transport Research Laboratory Crowthorne, Berkshire. TRL is situated in the Berkshire Countryside.
How Do I Get To the TRL
What Will I Learn
Lessons will include an introduction to the controls of the car, moving off and stopping, gear changes, low speed clutch control and approaching junctions, use of MSPSL(Mirrors, Signal, Position, Speed, Look. Subsequent or longer Lessons may also include emergency stops, bay parking, turn in the road, reverse around the corner and hill starts. All Lessons are conducted by fully qualified Driving Instructors and will follow the Official DSA Syllabus for Learning to Drive.
What Will It Cost
Each Pupil £65 each. 3 Hour Group Session, with regular change overs. Private Lessons can be booked 1 to 1 £130
What If I Am Older Than 17
If you are nervous this could be a great introduction. All you need to be is 16 plus, you do not need a provisional licence, to take part in the under 17 driving event.

What Facilities are On Site
There is a large modern building with toilets and waiting facilities, there is busy town of Bracknell close by as well as Crowthorne and Camberley, all with High Streets and shopping facilities, if you don't want to watch
Do I Need A Provisional Licence
You do NOT need a Provisional License to take one of Blues Under 17 Driving Lessons.
What Car Will I Drive
Our Modern fleet of dual controlled cars include the BMW Minis, Peugeot 207, Toyota Yaris, Ford Fiesta, Honda Jazz, Vauxhall Corsa, Hummer H2(If Only). Whichever car you drive on the day, it will be air conditioned and fitted with dual controls
Can I Take Photographs
Yes of Course! There will be loads of opportunities for you to do this during the event. You can watch from only meters away
Can I Watch
Parents or Guardians ONLY will be allowed to watch from a designated waiting area. This area is directly next to the track, and as such, is a prime viewing
Can We Book Normal On Road Lessons
Yes, after the event is over you can ask the instructor and he or she will give you their details, and when you turn 17 you can have lessons with that instructor, if they don't cover your area, we will find a suitable Blue Driving Instructor to take you on your first On Road Driving Lesson
Does The Off Road Lesson Help Me Pass The Driving Test
The driving lessons you get from Blue School of Motoring Ltd at the Off Road event will help you prepare for the on road lessons, and will make you a safer and more confident driver, when it comes to passing the driving test.
