Fleet Driver Defensive Courses
Blue School of Motoring Ltd has designed a specific training course that will suit any company either small medium or large.
Defensive driving courses are widely used by companies who want their drivers to stay safe and to present a professional and efficient face to other road users.
Defensive Driving is a form of training for motor vehicle drivers that goes beyond mastery of the rules of the road and the basic mechanics of driving. Its aim is to reduce the risk of driving by anticipating dangerous situations, despite adverse conditions or the mistakes of others.
We concentrate on safety, tolerance, control skills and understanding flows of traffic on our defensive driving courses. Sessions to manage occupational road risk will always be undertaken in the driver’s own vehicle, where we can introduce simple and effective techniques to help reduce stress while improving efficiency.
- Accreditation: DSA (Through Beyond Driving’s Fleet Registered Trainers)
- Duration: From 90 minutes, up to 2 hours
- Venue: Usually from your own workplace, or home depending on the employees preference.
- Trainer: Fleet registered trainer, DSA ADI.
